My 60th Birthday,  13 January 2008, at Heathrow Airport with Sarah. She and Russell depart for Australia  before their adventure in South America,  commencing February 2008

The following pictures were taken on the evening of Saturday 5th January 2008 at the Stafford Arms public house and restaurant, Bagnall, Stoke-on-Trent.   This was Sarah's 30th Birthday, my 60th (8 days' early) and Sarah and Russell's going-away party.

We believe that 'a good time was had by all' and the buffet was scrumptious !

TINA  -  A Scrapbook of Memories

We lost Tina 10 years ago, on 3rd August 1996, at the age of 45.   During Summer 2006 I produced a Scrapbook of Memories, having invited friends and family to contribute memories.   The book was finished and ready for printing on 28th July and, to date (19th August) I have distributed 20 copies.

The book contains 40 pages and 101 images and I will aim to scan it in full and reproduce it in section 12A of this website.

Picture taken 24th September 2005, at a book signing - 100 years since the first publication of "The Railway Children".  Location, Kidderminster Station, on the Severn Valley Railway.

My daughter Sarah, with Russell, on their Wedding Day, 28th August 2005	The wedding took place at St. Maria  Goretti RC Church in Bentilee,  Stoke-on-Trent.

Sarah composes herself at a very emotional moment, as we start our walk down the aisle.
